Greetings from the Membership Chairman
It is my honor to extend a heartfelt welcome to the membership site of our premier sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® -Xi Theta Omega Chapter.
On May 14, 1982, our beloved chapter was chartered with twenty active sorority sisters. Now, over 40 years later and EMPOWERED with more than 350 current members, we are “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood”. Located in Arlington, Texas, with a dynamic and diverse membership from throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, our chapter encompasses recent graduates to those members who have achieved Pearl membership status.
As we continue the legacy of our founders and live out the mantra, “Service to all Mankind,” it is with enthusiasm that we reclaim our beloved sorority sisters and also invite those desiring to transfer to our chapter. Together, we can serve alongside each other in our Sorority which fosters growth and development/ personally and professionally while simultaneously providing a positive impact on the lives of families in our communities.
In addition, graduate membership is by invitation only and is not solicited. Xi Theta Omega Chapter hosts an array of public events from forums, culturally relevant presentations and social activities, so that prospective candidates can become acquainted with our chapter members and learn about the service activities we offer our local and surrounding communities.
